Climate Action Plan
Our Commitment
As a school, we recognise our responsibility to respond to the climate and ecological emergency. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, increasing the resilience of our site, improving biodiversity, and ensuring our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for a sustainable future.
The Department for Education (DfE) requires all schools to develop a Climate Action Plan. This sets out how we will reduce carbon emissions, manage climate-related risks, enhance our grounds, and embed climate education across the curriculum. Our plan has been developed in consultation with students, staff, governors, and members of the wider community.
Our nominated Senior Leader who is responsible for coordinating sustainability actions is Dan Woodcock (Headteacher)
